Introduction

Our Introductory course provides a foundation for your understanding of the Vitality style. Our Introductory course provides a foundation for your understanding of the Vitality style.

Vitality has been developed to enable our western spines to gain the greatest value out of our yoga practice. The practice of Yoga is based around the understanding that human beings sat in a flat footed squatting position, not in cars and chairs as we do. For this reason these two introductory classes explain the benefits of additional postures that are part of our style.

This is to ensure that you are able to gain the most benefits from and move safely through your yoga practice with awareness and depth. Upon completion of this introductory course you will be ready to join any of our General classes, or should you wish you will be able to spend some transitional time in our Beginners class to familiarise yourself further with the Vitality yoga style.

Introductory classes are suitable for beginners and are also recommended for those who have practiced yoga previously but are new to the Vitality style.
